To build models and programs on a computer, Eon first needs to drive it — and that starts with the mouse.
Not that kind of mouse
Eon's dad has a little fun with it: this mouse isn't the squeaky animal! It's a machine — a small controller you slide around to operate a computer (here, a foldable laptop).
Meet the cursor
When you move the mouse, a tiny arrow moves on the screen. That arrow has a name: the cursor. Wherever the cursor points is where the computer is "looking."
The cursor is your finger inside the screen. You use it to point at things, select them, and deselect them.
Try it
On any computer, move the mouse slowly and watch the cursor follow. Point it at something and click. That little arrow is the start of everything — drawing, coding, 3D modeling, all of it.
