Making Pictures with AI (and: the Sun Is a Star!)

Words become pictures

The magic trick of an AI image tool: you type what you want (that's called a prompt), and the AI draws it. Want a sun? A star? A spaceship? Describe it clearly and the picture appears. The clearer your words, the closer the picture — so describing well is the real skill.

A space mix-up worth knowing

While making a "sun," a great question came up: is the Sun a planet or a star? It's a star! Stars (like our Sun) make their own light and heat. Planets (like Earth) don't glow on their own — they just reflect a star's light.

A note for grown-ups

AI tools are fun and powerful, but kids should use them with a parent, and remember the AI can make mistakes. Always check what it tells you.
